"Our group of 5 split the Mariscada x4 with a Dorada. Simple and delicious preparation for good value and wonderful service. One of our best meals in Menorca and an excellent lunch on our last day of vacation."
"Solid lunch - we ordered the sea bream and sea bass, one of which was grilled and the other baked in a sauce. Both fish were both super fresh. We also ordered the clams to share which had a delicious white wine sauce. Yum! Just a note that the garlic bread consists of two room temperature bread rolls with a side of garlic sauce - not the hot garlic bread we were expecting. Still enjoyable nonetheless"
"We arrived at Sa Verella by reccomendation from Ana Luisa. Initially we wanted to eat paella at her restaurant but without a reservation we did not stand a chance. The restaurant is at the end of the promenade, very quiet with a beautiful view of the harbor, small cave , very clean bathroom. We were a party of four and wanted mixed sea food paella, the owner said they do it and set the table for us. The paella was not on the menu, the price was same 19 euro /person, which seemed fair. The service was amazing and very quick, we got our drinks immediately and shortly after, the paella was served . Beautiful and delicious with a lot of sea food : mussel, razor clams, shrimp and cooked bell pepper on top and bits of calamari, octopus and mussels mixed with the rice. My partner wanted to see what else we can try from the menu and the cook's reccomendation was sea bream menorcan style. It was very very well cooked and indeed the potatoes are to die for. The owners finished the meal for us with digestivos on the house: 4 shots of lemon sorbet with a bit of menorcan gin , followed by 4 shots of mango sorbet with a bit of orange peel liquor. This was the most incredible desert/ digestive you can have!!! I truly hope more people will find the restaurant and enjoy the beautiful food and service from Sa Verella, we would return anytime!!!"
"Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The service was second to none, then food was impeccable and the setting is just gorgeous I couldn’t have had a better afternoon. We would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting the island and we would definitely come back. Muchas Gracias"
"We were looking for a special place to eat on our last night in Menorca as it was my wife's birthday so chose Sa Verella based on the look & feel of it when we walked past one evening. The reviews also looked great (thanks Caroline!). The service was great, the atmosphere lovely, and the food was delicious - so a great choice for our final meal out. We had whitebait & razor clams to start and most of us had fish for mains - I chose the baked Sea Bream which was really good - moist fish, great potato and peppers and vegetable bed beneath the fish (looked better than the photo suggests!). Desserts we chose were crema catalana and Tiramisu. A really great meal enjoyed by all 5 of us. Highly recommend."
"A fantastic spot to enjoy delicious local dishes with excellent service.. I would give 100/10 for the service, the quality of the food, and the location! I highly recommend it. Thank you!"
"Absolutely gorgeous location, we watched the sunset, enjoyed delicious sangria along with some of the best food I’ve ever eaten, highly recommend the monkfish and prawn dish!"
"We chose to eat at Sa Verella due to the good reviews and were so glad we did. We started with mussels in marinara that were great, the sauce was so rich and salty it was a perfect accompaniment. My husband had the baked cod dish and I the baked sea bass and it was easily the best fish I've ever eaten, probably one of the best things I've eaten in a restaurant too. The fish itself was cooked perfectly and the tomato based sauce underneath it with thinly sliced potatoes made it just a stand out dish. We shared a bottle of slightly sparkling white wine and just had a great time eating and sitting by the water enjoying our evening."
